Great place to stay, but you WILL be driving for a few minutes to reach any grocery shopping or restaurants. Pretty secluded. There's some sort of problem with the new management though, with a great deal of confusion between what parts of the resort are available to which units. So make sure you know exactly what you'll have access to before you reserve, at least until they figure that out.
We've stayed here each of most winters and really enjoy it here. Not busy at all this time of year in January, so was very relaxing. We hadn't stayed in this unit before and we're quite happy with *almost* everything. We were disappointed that an advertised hot tub couldn't be made available, so I hope they update their listing since that seems to be the long term status.
The 2 or 3 bedroom townhouse is very nicely sized! However the well water is a big turnoff. We mentioned it repeatedly and was just told that's the way it is in the whole area. We decided not to shower, bought bottles of water for drinking and making coffee and tea. We couldn't use the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom because the hot water smelled like rotten eggs and had a brown color. Unfortunately won't be back until they fix.
We love going there and have stayed during the summer, fall, and winter. We especially love the three-bedroom homes on the golf course. The staff are great...very accommodating!
Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. Staff was friendly but office was closed at time of our arrival without staff notifying us ahead of this.
The location was beautiful, the timeshare units decor and appliances are getting pretty outdated, but the shell itself is still beautiful with the huge windows overlooking the golf course. Access to the pool is wonderful. Nothing but good things to say about our stay.
The unit we stayed in is nice. However, the hot tub needs some serious repair.
Been coming here for many years, it never disappoints. Our timeshare unit is so comfortable and clean and well equipped. Love to see the golfers going by, then walk down by the lake, so much natural beauty in this area!
